Our chocolate raspberry Oreo crumb treat was swapped out for an odd white chocolate Oreo crumb dessert that we didn't expect. I've always had a passion for chocolate since I was a child. My all-time favorite treats are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups—especially the originals, Big Cups, and those rich holiday-themed trees and pumpkins! I also adore chocolate-covered pretzels and nonpareils. When I spotted the chocolate cornucopia, I was practically drooling and so tempted to buy it (the picture really doesn't do it justice!). If Thanksgiving hadn't just passed, I definitely would have purchased one! Instead, I went with four chocolate-covered sea salt pretzels, and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! To top it off, I ran into some old neighbors right behind me in line, which was a lovely surprise!
First time going in and didn’t bother buying anything due to being turn around by the horrible attitude of customer service. Mind you I was wearing a face mask and used sanitizer upon entrance and was just browsing and was yelled at as if I was doing something wrong. I just gtfo. I’ll take my business elsewhere. But perhaps I’ll give a second chance in the future.
There are two specialty chocolate shops, and we chose this one for a couple of reasons. First, they offer chocolate-covered marshmallows for just $1.50, which is a saving of 50 cents! I was very put off by not only the lack of greeting by the only person working in an empty store, but a long winded sign stating that they aren 't asking for vaccination status or enforcing masks. The this is America, home of the free really didn 't sit well with me either. Selection isn 't that great either.
The caramel apples are divine. I love all of the choices, chocolate or candy.It's also adorable to look at.Smells great, tastes delicious and it's a must go to whenever I'm in Smithville.
Excellent variety of chocolates and candy. They carry different seasonal items throughout the year. Great local place if you need to get a gift for someone.
