The food was amazing, hats off to the chef, however the service was horrible. The host was rude and ignored us when we arrived for our 7pm reservation. When we were finally acknowledged, we then had to wait because they didn’t have a table ready, and we were told we could wait outside. Our waiter was unapologetic when food took so long to come out. It’s fine if the kitchen is behind, but we would have appreciated a heads up or an apology. I would not come back here for dine in due to the poor service and hospitality.
some of the best customer service I've ever received. the room is small so I would not recommend a group more than six people, although I am sure they would do what they could if they did it. Reservations are a must, this place is busy and it is worth waiting. the food was well presented and fresh, service was prompt and the staff extremely friendly, but not intrusive. drinks were also very nice and their wine list was also pleasant. we are looking forward to another chance to feed here.
We're long time fans of Sycamore. It is one of the top restaurants in the Boston area. However, we were disappointed by their Wednesday Burger Night. My wife and I took our two kids out for this special dinner, only to arrive and learn they no longer had burgers. I question how that can happen by a 6p reservation on a Wednesday. Hope they can figure out how more people can enjoy Burger Night. Service: Dine in
Delicious New American style cuisine, paired with a warm atmosphere and generous service. Food was solid across the board, and the experience was only marred by an initial shaky start of service, which was more than alleviated by the very capable and apparent MVP of the building, Josh. A textbook example of a great neighborhood restaurant, one I’ll likely be returning to many times. Food: 5

we stumbled unexpectedly on this little place. we were looking for something with character and this place has it! the service was the best I had for years! several people came by to make sure our experience was satisfactory. the drinks and eating were unique and tasty cannot wait to return!
Amazing meal. The chicken was delicious as was everything else we ordered. Everyone working was attentive and very friendly. Will be back for sure.
