This city is absolutely buzzing, so many things to see and do. We went to visit my son who lives in nearby little bay. We were at the party or New Year's Eve at the opera house which we have to say is stunning, as is the harbour and the harbour bridge. Darling Harbour is buzzing with things to do with many lovely restaurants. And of course the sky tower. As for beaches they are all stunning in there own way. Bondi is the surfers paradise and is very popular with travelling back packers. Manly Beach is just beautiful, as is Coogee, watson said bay, and Marouba, The coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi is especially lovely. we also visited Sydney Zoo in which was fabulous, along with the stunning...
We had a wonderful "farewell" dinner with our tour group at Nick's. The next day, my daughter and I enjoyed lunch there as their special of the day were "BUGS" which I absolutely couldn't resist after having them for the first time in CAIRNS. My daughter was able to have a lovely vegetarian meal. The waiter was gracious and friendly and the view from our semi-outside table was excellent. NIck's will always be a pleasant memory of our trip to Australia.
We had a nice evening, good service a very nice restaurant. The beef was excellent we had the Waguy chice of the cheff, slowly grilled, a big cut, Wines were a bit too high but a lot of choice.
