We ordered the Szechuan shrimp along with three types of sushi rolls: California, Philly, and shrimp tempura. Everything was fantastic! The shrimp in the Szechuan dish was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice. The service was excellent as well. I dined here many years ago, and I'm happy to say that the quality of the food and service has remained consistent since they first opened. They’ve clearly been doing things right for a long time. Give it a try; you won’t be disappointed!
I've always appreciated this restaurant, but I've noticed that the portion sizes have decreased recently. I ordered the house roasted rice, which used to feature generous shrimp portions. Now, the shrimp are cut into very small bits. The next time I ordered, it was still hot and delicious—definitely the best in the area—but I could barely taste the tiny pieces.
The best Chinese food we've ever had. Vegetarian spring rolls were light, crispy and tasty. Wonton soup was clear and fresh. Sweet and acidic pork was perfection: inside tender and outside crispy. The Mai Tais were also great! This cafe sparkles it so well maintained and clean.... lovely inside. Service was excellent! Very recommended!
Absolutely fantastic food and service! It may be a bit pricier than some other places, but the experience is definitely worth the money. We had a group with both vegan and non-vegan members, and everyone found delicious options on the menu that they loved. Everyone enjoyed their meal!

Szechuan is undoubtedly the best spot for Chinese cuisine in Pasadena! The food is delicious and of high quality. The service is excellent as well! The owner is always present, making sure that everyone is well taken care of. I would highly recommend it—10/10!

Without a doubt, this is the best Chinese food I've ever had in my 22 years of life. The pepper steak is simply exceptional. The pork dumplings and beef with broccoli are also a perfect 10 out of 10!
I order takeout from this restaurant whenever I'm in the area. The portion sizes are generous, although the prices are a bit on the higher side. I've tried both the sushi and their takeout.
