I have visited this buffet restaurant multiple times over the past two years. Based on my previous experiences with their food, I decided to order takeout, specifically Chinese drumsticks and chaat. Unfortunately, the portion sizes were smaller than expected, especially considering the increased prices, which were not displayed on the menu or mentioned at the time of ordering. The chaat portion was disappointingly small, and the Hakka noodles lacked flavor and had minimal chicken, for which they charged extra. The drumsticks were also limited to just four for $12. I am disappointed to write this review because I have always loved this restaurant and frequently visit. However, during my last visit with my family last week, I was saddened by the condition of the establishment. I am giving it 2 stars because the food was delicious, but the overall ambiance was disappointing. The floors were sticky, the walls were dirty, there was a hole in the wall behind my seat, and there was an overcrowded area as well. It made me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen if the dining area was in such disarray. In conclusion, I would still order takeout or delivery from this Halal Desi restaurant, but dining in is not an option for me anymore.
The level of grease in my meal was enough to fry a 25-pound turkey in. It was absolutely revolting. The Marsala sauce was ruined by the greasiness, making it taste as though it had been sitting out since yesterday afternoon before being poured into a container.
First visit for the weekly buffet. Price to 23.99. Although there were a variety of different foods. They had different types of rice, noodles, nan, 10 medium dishes. The food had good and unqiue taste. Interesting experience. The staff was friendly.
