Went there during our trip to Freiburg waitress brought the wrong beer, and tried to argue we were wrong (we are both German native speakers so there was no language problem . Then when we ordered a schnitzel with potatoes rather than fries we...got the schnitzel with fries. When one of her colleagues corrected her about the beer, near our table we could hear her very loudly argue back. The food itself was ok. Nothing to write home about. Wouldn't go again, or recommend to anyone to go. And if you go there as a non German tourist, and get the wrong order it's probably not your fault ;
The armchairs are very comfortable and the distance between the seats I find extremely sufficient. There you don't get a feeling like eating cucumbers on can evening. We didn't have to wait for the food and our drinks. That was great because we had a really big fresco tonight. I am glad to come here with my people for my part and I can rely on being taken care of. We were completely positively surprised. We'll all be back.
Located in the Altstadt and one level below ground in a charming cellar like setting, this restaurant is known for its schnitzel, serving it up in no less than 24 flavours! Liking my food spicy, I ordered the “Diablo” which came with a Paprika ...Chilli sauce. It was sufficiently spicy and made the schnitzel more appetizing for me. If you like schnitzel, this place is for you!
We stopped here for lunch randomly and were quite taken with the lively feel of the place. The friendly waitress told us there would be a wait for our order to arrive on this busy Saturday. The food was decent, huge portions, and for a...good price, but it really was a very long wait.

I was initially overwhelmed by the fact that Schnitzel is served here with sauce, but the selection really has it in itself. If you have the opportunity to try several sauces, it's really worth it! The cellar ambience is very versatile and atmospheric rustic. I like to be there.
Wir hatten einen schönen Abschluss im Tacheles nach der Messe Plaza Culinaria und Chiara hat uns gleich einen Platz zugewiesen. Tolle Bedienung und super freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.
We ate various carvings with supplement to lunch. Very delicious. Even if not cheap. You don't spend 10€ each day in the lunch break. Price performance fits. Service was also good.
