I experienced poor customer service during my recent visit to Taco Bell, specifically with the drive-thru cashier Sequoia. Normally, I'm accustomed to helpful and friendly cashiers, but that was not the case this time. The drive-thru line was long, and the wait was frustrating. I waited roughly five minutes without a greeting from Sequoia. Her first remark was, "give me one second," and when she returned, she simply said, "order when you're ready," without even asking if I wanted any taco sauce. There was a clear lack of basic manners and courtesy throughout the interaction. After I thanked her and wished her a good night, she responded with an attitude by slamming the window shut. Disappointing experience. I asked if I could place a separate order, but the person at the drive-thru told me that only one order is allowed per car. I visit Taco Bell daily at various locations, so I know this isn’t a standard policy. When I inquired further, they admitted they didn’t know the reasoning behind this rule. It feels like a lack of effort, and being dishonest with customers is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back to this location.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I never received my order, which was just one item. There were many employees, but half seemed to be doing nothing. A fight even broke out. There were bugs near the window. The staff were extremely disrespectful, and no one informed me about my order. Absolutely disgusting.
I had a wonderful visit to Taco Bell. The atmosphere was calm and not crowded, letting me savor a few tacos and a soda comfortably. The staff were quick and courteous, and the restroom was well-maintained.
