I visited this restaurant for the first time and was not impressed. I ordered five small barbacoa street tacos, a steak quesadilla, tamarind juice, and horchata, which totaled $30. I personally found this price to be quite steep for the portion size. The plates were made of foam, similar to what you'd find at a market. The food was overly greasy and lacked flavor. I chose not to dine in because the tables were neither clean nor dry. Additionally, the customer service from the attendant was quite poor. I wouldn't recommend this place. Service: Takeaway.
I tried the tortoise dish, and it was really delicious! There are two food trucks at this spot. One serves tacos, enchiladas, tortoise, and similar items, while the other offers a variety of fruits and fruit juices. It's a nice little location with a tent and a few picnic tables. The atmosphere could use some improvement; perhaps a small building could enhance the experience in the future. Overall, this place has the potential to be a fantastic little eatery. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try!
They only accept cash—no cards, not even Apple or Android Pay! There are also ridiculous limits on how many tacos you can order, and the prices are far too high for the portion sizes. While the food itself was good, dealing with staff who lack customer service skills was quite frustrating; not even a single attempt to help! I was hungry and this was the least crowded place nearby at the time. Just a hangry guy from Orlando. As for parking, it's just a dirt lot.
