Our family of 5 were passing through Basel on our way to and from Italy (14/08/20 and 20/08/20). Staying at an Ibis hotel in Pratteln. We were looking for something cheap and cheerful (and not McDonalds). This place popped up on google maps and was a 10 minute walk away. They have 6 tables outside and several more indoors. Although at first glance this is a kebab shop with a counter, it’s a table service restaurant. Family run, mum and dad do most of the cooking and son (who speaks perfect English), does everything else. Drinks are help yourself with usual cans and a few tins of beer. They’ve got some Turkish beer on tap but didn’t try it. There’s a variety of pizzas, peids, kebabs and salad...

Extremely hungry and also very thirsty after a long day out and about with the football. Had a great chat with the owner, a friendly man from Kurdistan, he was good craic and very welcoming. Ordered a doner kebab, which is what one needs after a long day, and a few cans of beer. Sat down at back and enjoyed the cold beers and the kebab which tasted fantastic. Very good, and someday will be back....

Das Restaurant bietet seit der Neueröffnung am 9. März eine leckere Auswahl an asiatischen und türkischen Speisen. Egal, ob es um das hervorragende asiatische Mittagsmenü geht oder um eine italienische Pizza. Das Essen schmeckt lecker, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und die Preise sind sehr günstig. Ein Besuch lohnt sich!
Auf jeden Fall eine Bereicherung für die Region. Das Essen ist super lecker und es gibt einige Raritäten wir beispielsweise Kebab mit Spiegelei. Ich hoffe, dass irgendwann endlich noch türkische Köftes anstatt Cevapcici auf die Menükarte kommen.
Das Fleisch ist sehr fein und die Atmosphäre sehr angenehem. Die Preise sind üblich zum Teil günstiger als bei anderen. Mir schmeckt aufjedenfall!
