Taj - Table reservation

I had a fantastic experience at the Taj of Glenmont. The vegan section is clearly marked and features seven different options that are packed with flavor. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and TJ, who I believe is the owner, was absolutely wonderful! He welcomed further vegan suggestions and shared that they have an extensive vegan menu because his mother is vegan. I really appreciated the family atmosphere and the amazing food! I ordered channa masala and a crispy flatbread, both of which were excellent. The flatbread came with two sauces; one wasn’t vegan, but the tamarind sauce was vegan and it was absolutely delicious.

We have a lot of Indian restaurants in the Capital District, but Taj stands out for the quality of food and service. We love that they offer about 7 vegan options. Traditionally, we eat at Indian restaurants knowing we will at least get vegetarian options, but it was a pleasant surprise to find vegan meals. This is our #1 Indian restaurant because of that, and because the food is well prepared and the staff is very friendly.

This is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They offer a wide variety of vegan options, and the portions are quite generous.

What a delightful surprise! I had the mulligatawny soup (amazing), samosas, and letoni gobi, and everything was truly delicious. The letoni gobi was a bit on the sweet side, but it was still great overall.

delish and very spicy- this is the first time I found this dish in an Indian restaurant. I usually go with a curry option - that was a nice change of the tempos
