We went for dinner after walking around a theme park for the day as we were staying near there. Had heard mixed reviews about it but thought we'd give it a go. My husband tried the steak and had the surf and turf topping and absolutely loved it. I had the chicken parma, wouldn't recommend this as it came very crispy and over cooked. Should have tried the pasta as it looked nicer. The club had a nice atmosphere and meals were delivered promptly.
The atmosphere is pure Tully! We had steaks and I loved mine and my husband hated his. The meal was priced a little high for the value of the food. The bar staff were very friendly and so willing to work with a group of us there to watch international rugby. We went twice and found the atmosphere fantastic and the staff great but the food needs a little more attention as to quality and presentation.
Two meals for under $18 seems a good deal, unfortunately this time we had a disappointing experience. One meal, barra fish cakes were mostly filler, little taste of fish and the salad dressing was not to our taste. Second meal, lamb roast, yummy, delicious but only luke warm, what a let down. We will go again and order from the main menu and expect a better result from paying full price.
Have been coming here for years but something has changed. Seems to have all new staff, some of whom need to work on their personal presentation. Seem to be amateurs or just out of TAFE. Steak was tough, lamb kebab was overcooked, pasta was gluggy and unseasoned, food just warm at best. Very poor. Book a table now
It was a wet and cool Mother's Day but Club Talle was a great choice for lunch (air con was a little cool though). All our meals were delicious and their presentation was also excellent. The Chef's Specials had some yummy choices too. We all enjoyed our lunch.
Went with kids and had dinner. Everyone was so nice to us all, and the food was fantastic. Whilst eating, the kids didn't say a word they enjoyed it so much. As far a casual family dining at a surf club goes, this one gets a big thumbs up from me!
We used this club as it was located next to our apartment while on a short holiday to the Gold Coast. It is a very well maintained club with lots of amenities including a great restaurant and bar.
Food and service was fantastic. I had the seafood platter and my husband the steak and both meals were first class. We will be going back Book a table now
Nice Surf Club with typical club fare. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Nice little cafe on the beach to have a morning coffee
