I was pleasantly surprised by this elegant Indian restaurant, which creates a lovely ambiance for a fantastic dinner. From the name, I expected it to be a themed restaurant with modern decor, but it turns out to be beautifully themed in a way that reflects colonial times. I've been here a few times now. Every time I am just blown away by the totally delicious food, the attention to detail, and the extremely attentive staff. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. We will certainly be back again sooner rather than later. I've been back to try the Sunday lunch buffet twice. The starters are huge, you have a choice of vegetarian or meat. It would be nice to have a mixed starter, too. The variety of dishes on offer is good, and the quality excellent. You also receive freshly baked naan bread brought to your table. We particularly like the fish curry, which is something we wouldn't have ordered so being able to try it in the buffet menu enabled us to discover it.
very nice, biryani was the best. we were last year for Christmas dinner of the family here and when I called them to book table that could not meet children. I wanted to turn off, but they said if children are right, then it's okay. directly from the main door until we left the restaurant late after dinner, they cared for us like a family. every dish we ordered tastes authentic. I had gulab jamoon for dessert and it was made of khoya that just melted in the mouth. plan to book a table for this christmas too.
good things to hear at this place so that the expectations were high! it was a busy Saturday night still received a warm greeting that was a good start. we then drove to the bar for a few great g t’s. the bar is small cozy, there were eight of us, so we ordered drinks on the table in the interesting, very attractive dining room. eating has not been disappointed or made a delicious wine. I couldn't break the service either. we came a long way for this meal will return as soon as we can.

The buffer experience was good for the price offered Starters hariyali /tandoori /Reshmi kebab chicken Veg started pakora , onion bhaji Was offered a monk fish instead of a plate( was happy to customise) Buffet : Malabari fish( was average, gravy was good but the odd fish fillet was little dry, due to The buffet heating I guess) Butter Chicken/dum pukth mutton- was good
Food always excellent, first class service by staff. Only problem on our visit was an unsupervised child swinging on chairs. No fault of restaurant owner, only that the childs parents were obviously thick.
Exquisite food and impeccable service. The atmosphere is elegant, exotic and welcoming. The staff are attentive, very kind and friendly. The food is really delicious! To return.
Good restaurant. Lovely decor, great little bar to the side. A little overpriced in my opinion but the staff are excellent so I guess you get what you pay for.
