I ordered the osmanthus oolong a with sea salt crema and the cup came out without a sipping option. Honestly the whole point of the crema on top is to sip it through the cup, not through a straw so that you can the textural contrast of the foam and the creme hitting your lips before the tea. With a straw, there’s no point in the crema, you might as well just have a milk tea.The tea itself was very floral but was not remotely 70% sweet and paying the extra for the crema was not justified drinking it with a straw.
This is the most potent and flavorful milk tea you'll ever experience. The tea flavor truly stands out compared to 95% of other boba shops. They clearly take pride in their beverages, and it really shows. It's definitely worth a visit, especially since the prices remain very reasonable—just $3.95 for a drink before adding toppings, which is hard to find in the city these days. I highly recommend the Assam milk tea!
I had the A1 Assam Mike Tea and the A2 Royal Celyon Milk Tea, and both had an excellent tea flavor. I love adding Boba, getting it at 50% sweetness and with less ice—this is the best combination for me. The Boba has a perfect chewy texture. This is definitely one of the best Boba drink shops in the area!
Really, really solid milk tea with much higher quality tea than anything else I’ve seen in sf. Prices are also about $3 less than anything else in sf. Highly recommend
