Having read other reviews and as we were staying opposite in Crown Plaza we thought we'd have a pleasant Indian meal On arrival we were the only customers at which should have given us a clue about the quality of food, firstly we were...offered a table immediately below the ceiling fan blowing at top speed As others have stated the decor leaves a lot to be desired and the ambience is lacking The food from the poppadoms to main course and sides were so salty it was impossible to taste any curry flavour at all Would definitely give this place a miss if you want authentic Indian food
Fabulous food, very well cooked and extremely tasty. Three levels of strength for every dish, Rice's and breads galore and not too badly priced. The only problem I had wasn't actually with the restaurant but the on-line ordering system. I tried twice to order and...pay, but couldn't complete the transaction. I have idea why. However, visited by and ordered in person and paid in the normal' way. All good there. Eat, enjoy and return, for surely you will!!
I found this restaurant by searching for Indian restaurants open for lunch. It was only a few minutes away from where we were staying, but the drive was worth it. The food was delicious! The staff was very friendly. I ordered chicken, rice, and naan, which were freshly cooked and very tasty. The decor was simple and minimalistic, but clean. Definitely recommend checking it out if you enjoy good Indian food!
Called in to this Chevron Island restaurant for some take-away after the movies. I was early and the only person there. Nevertheless they were ready to take my order (Tadka Dahl and Basmati rice) and minutes later I left with a very fresh tasting...and reasonably priced meal. The Dahl was delicious, very fragrant ingredients and a good quantity too. Think I'll call in for a sit down meal next time.

We love a good Indian restaurant and this one has great food. Had a selection (only so much choice when there are only of you), but they were well mafe and tasted great. The decor while not old is not inspiring and could be...better. But do not let this turn you off as the food is terrific. Good selection of dishes and the staff are friendly.
Your senses are set tingling as soon as you enter this unassuming little place right on the highway fresh herbs and tantalising spices. Pleasant attentive staff were on hand and service was fast. My goat curry, a house speciality, was beautifully tender and the...balances of spices was great. Worth another visit.
The dining experience was subpar. I am not one to usually leave negative reviews, but it was just average. Maybe I am picky, but we decided to have Indian food before heading home from our trip. Unfortunately, this restaurant was not at the top of our list.
we had an early dinner here and found eating very well. they make a perfect vindaloo and my wife enjoyed the mango chicken. also the fresh peshwari naan was a hit.

The food was delicious, but they should consider increasing the portion of curry for dine-in customers, especially since they charge extra for it.
had no tandoori! or prawns not licensed to sell alcohol drinks slow service. all in all very disappointing
