Located under a block of apartments, this unassuming restaurant serves good curries for the price point. We were a group of 5 and chose the 'economy banquet' - entrees, riata, 4 curries, basmati rice, roti. Thoroughly enjoyable and filling. We've eaten here twice and both times there was no one at the front door to welcome us. A little strange - took over 2 minutes of ringing the bell for someone to attend to us. But once we were seated, we enjoyed impeccable service.
We came to Gold Coast and went for dinner in Tandoori Place today.. It's a worst dinner experience for us Down Under.. No hospitality at all... they have arranged for a Buffet. But, food items are worst..Beware tourists... don't take risk.. Travel agents also please don't make your customers feel bad by sending them to such worst restaurants... Very bad experience for us... kids didn't eat anything here...
The food is very tasty and moderately priced.. just opposite mantra legends hotel.. The staff was very sweet enough to take our order on telephone since we were running late and they were about to close. The food served was piping hot and yummy . Indians looking for authentic fare have found a super place to eat.
I am amazed by the high standards of customer service. We went to this restaurant to try out Thai food and the ladies there took their time to explain to us the menu and made recommendations. surprised to see a authentic Indian food at Gold Coast! The food was really nice and suited to Indian taste buds. The space is little cramped so if you have a large group coming in, it becomes chaotic.
Tried this place based on the reviews. The butter chicken is exactly the way i liked. It wasn't too spicy and not too sweet. Their naan bread tasty fresh and crispy. Will highly recommend it.
