I was in the mood for something hot because of the frigid temperatures, so I decided that I wanted to order one of the noodle soups. The Big Bowl Noodle Soups are a real treat! It's kind of a build your own soup adventure. You pick a broth (clear soup, coconut curry, or spicy miso), then you pick a noodle (udon, mei fun, chow fun or lo mein) and then you can pick a filling: mixed vegetables, chicken, beef, shrimp, chicken wontons, roast pork, or a seafood combo. Doesn't look like much when you walk by, but boy was the food outstanding. We started with both steamed and fried pork dumplings. Both were delicious. The steamed dumplings were very light and flavorful. The fried were of course perfectly crispy and flavorful as well. Tani tower was awesome.. tuna, salmon, avocado and mango with Yuzu sauce. Scallion pancakes were lightly fried and crunchy. Crispy orange delight was good. Shrimp was much better than the chicken. Spring Jamie Roll was good. The special sauce pulled it all together. The dinosaur roll was excellent. Shrimp, tuna and avocado in a soft shell crab shell. Would definitely go back!! It's a BYOB also. Service was great
I dont even know where to start with this. see 4 stars so i order for delivery. the rice have no flavor and most of the grain are dry hard. the King Crab roll i order the meat was so dry and old that it harden very weird texture. Tempura are like stuff they fried the day before. Their Ponzu sauce for the Yellow tail appetizer have a weird chemical smell in it. I was a very waste of . I dont know how can they do this. Maybe they think they can get away because im not dining in so they dont get any complain. i want to give 1 start but i feel bad since they are trying to run their business in Covid pandemic.
This restaurant consistently exceeds my expectations. I've never had a disappointing meal, even with takeout. The portion sizes are generous. My absolute favorite dish is the crispy beef—it's incredible! The sushi is always fresh, and the sautéed udon with roasted pork is fantastic, though it does contain mushrooms for anyone with allergies. The minced chicken lettuce cups are also amazing; just thinking about them makes my mouth water. The staff is always friendly, making us feel welcome every time we dine there. Plus, the decor is charming!

Everything was good. Ambience Service Food Price We came on a Saturday late afternoon. It's on a street with other restaurants and very pleased to have chosen Tani. Their service was very attentive. We ordered two appetizers, two brown rice rolls, two specialty rolls and Udon noodles -house mix. The brown rice on the rolls were soft and sticky which is difficult to find at a Japanese restaurant, A+ for that. The udon noodles was a good large portion for sharing between two.
Our new favorite Asian restaurant! I've visited for lunch with friends and ordered takeout multiple times, and I've always enjoyed the food. We recently went for dinner and discovered that they are BYOB. We shared a bottle of wine and enjoyed soup, edamame, sushi rolls, rice, and General Tso's chicken. Everything was fantastic, and we can't wait to go back to try their udon soup and more. The service was quick, and they are very COVID-friendly.
This location is NOT closed FYI. We came here for dinner and it hit the spot. I ordered chicken lo mein and it was a good sized portion (in a deep ramen bowl). It was more on the oily side and could have used a tad more flavor but it was good. My friend ordered some sushi rolls as well. Friendly staff!
We considered several Japanese restaurants before choosing this one. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5. The food was decent, but the quality of the sushi and sashimi wasn’t impressive. Some of the pieces had a distinctly fishy taste. Additionally, the service was quite slow.

The fish didn't taste fresh, it truly lacked the flavor of a fresh fish. While the restaurant was empty (3 other tables) the service was slow and not attentive at all, had to ask for tea 3 times.
I had very low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised by this small Asian fusion place. We took out a very nice dinner and now we'll go back an dine in.
