We had an amazing experience at Tartufo! As locals, we had been curious to try their cuisine for a while. It was my birthday, and I went with my family. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they managed to seat us and provided outstanding service. The food was delightful, bringing to mind a warm family restaurant in Italy. The pasta was particularly noteworthy, even impressing my Italian wife. Thank you, Tartufo, for a memorable evening and for surprising us with a cake and candle without us even having to ask!
The food was delicious. Everyone at the party was happy with their meals, portion size, and speed of service. Having the full 2nd-floor room to ourselves allowed us to fully enjoy our time together. A great dining option for a private companydinner...especially since it was found using GOOGLE and no one had been to Tartufo before! We will be back.
Food was excellent. But, service was inattentive we were simultaneously being rushed and ignored. It seems that once you're a known entity, you might get better service; but special attention for returning guests should not mean ignoring new ones.
Tartufo is one of the best restaurants I have ever been, the food is amazing and the ambiance is perfect for a date, a cozy dinner or just a quiet supper. Service is fantastic and location is great.
