the food was tasty, but the manager who was the only person who knew the writing manning, and bringing the food on the table was obviously out of her deep and tried to do everything. it looked like they needed at least one other person to help so that customers would not be affected by the service. we ordered our food and at the time of order they knew we had a fork booking. we asked if we could have a court to take away and she said yes. When I went to pay the bill, she hadn't taken the 30% discount off the peel. when I brought her to her attention, she said that it is not necessary to take away. I said, but we ordered it as part of our meal, but she took it away and she would have mentione...
The restaurant was busy which was good to see . I would have given 5 stars for food and service if they didn’t forget the extra chilli on the side . The prawns were good size and fresh . Chicken tandoori Briyani was not impressive to look at but delicious . I mentioned to the staff that it was great that they allowed byo wine. It is a neighbourhood gem and we will be returning again.
This is one of the rare restaurants that open on a Monday so not only is that a plus to begin with but they have also improved the lighting and ambience of the place making it a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is of a high standard and service is friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The food here is fantastic, always is, unfortunately though, with only two other customers in the restaurant, we waited 40 minutes for our food. We will go back, but if it's the same service as this time, I'll be avoiding it in future.
