Absolutely shocking. Had to wait 25 minutes for our food to arrive (the full English) the sausages were hard/tough, the bacon was grey in places and the beans were from the Asda essentials range so cheap!! Egg undercooked. Really off putting and did not enjoy the meal at all. Also charged 2.95 for a glass of apple juice, which I assume will also be cheap Asda juice. So their profit margin will be high for sure. The mushrooms had fried onion in amongst but this was never stated on the menu description. Not good if you have allergies etc. Also have ‘homemade soup on the menu and could see the Heinz tins in the kitchen…..would not recommend eating here!!
Food took over 40mins to arrive with only the two of us in there listening to all the clattering and banging of plates and cutlery so talking to one another was out of the question! The 2 poached eggs I had were not cooked and the third was so overcooked you could bounce it off the walls plus the plate was swimming with water topped off with cold toast. Left the place hungry as wasn’t prepared to eat what was placed in front of me. The waitress was the only thing decent about this place!
An excellent little cafe opposite the Snooty Fox on the Main Street. We had a toasted cheese sandwich with salad, bacon egg on toast and a cup of tea/coffee for our lunch there on Sunday. We really enjoyed it, did not feel rushed and the person waiting on the tables who took our order was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Very nice cafe with great prices, good menu and friendly service.
I went to this cafe yesterday with a family of 6, we all ordered full English and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had.My mum also had a bacon and egg sandwich she really enjoyed it said it was cooked perfectly with fresh bread.Also lovely and smiley staff all the way through,kept checking on us and asking if everything was okay.Amazing experience will definitely be coming back

We stopped by for a light lunch and ordered a delicious cheese, ham, and tomato toastie. It was piping hot and had just the right amount of filling. We finished off our meal with a pot of tea for two. Although we were too full to try the tempting cakes, a nearby customer recommended the scones, which also looked delicious. We will definitely be returning to try them next time.
Me and my son always go to Tata’s Cafe when we will go for a coffee in town. We love their scones and hot chocolate. And the recent one that we’ve tried is their tuna melt, it was delish. Also, I heard from some of the locals that their breakfast is one of the best in Kirkby. We haven’t tried it yet but we’ll definitely will one day.
I enjoyed a delicious cheese and mushroom omelette and a flavorful americano at this restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff was very helpful. They even allowed my dog and provided water for her. The eggs were beautifully cooked and the coffee was great.
Called in on a wet an cold day, to be welcomed by a lovely host! Food was lovely and excellent coffees just what we needed. Will definitely be back when in Kirkby Lonsdale!

The service at this charming cafe is excellent, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I couldn't ask for more from this unique little restaurant, and the staff are perfect.
