"Excellent fresh seafood. The oysters were amazing as was the rockfish ceviche. Very hopeful staff will guide you through it all. Only gripe is that it is pricey for product…."

I stopped by Taylor Shellfish after my visit to Virginia Mason and then grabbed a coffee at the nearby Starbucks Reserve. The restaurant primarily focuses on shellfish, but they also offer a small lunch and dinner menu. It gets quite busy, but the staff was incredibly friendly and the service was outstanding. I ordered the chowder and the tuna, both of which were fantastic—I could eat them every day! The tuna was paired with a sweet mango sauce and a sprinkle of salt that enhanced its flavor. They offer wine as well, but I chose to stick with water. The prices are very reasonable, and I left feeling satisfied. I'm definitely planning to return and explore their other locations.

They need all new staff.. If youre going to spend 100-150 a person go somewhere else. I sat for 30+ minutes begging a waiter for a water and then the horrible service continued. I was from out of town and was so committed to oysters and clams that i took their ****. I got some clams in white wine sauce and clearly in a small room with a few staff again coulnt get a moment or glance from one of them. I wanted bread the whole time and raised my hand 10 times and eventually at the end of the entire meal he said, hey you want some bread with that.. NO SH.. There is a reason they build the tip into the tab, because they can get away with treating you horribly and not care.

Checked out a bunch of seafood restaurants when we traveled to Seattle and this one was the best that I found! The Salish Sampler is Pricey but Worthy! It pretty much included all the signature items you need to check out! The Geoduck sashimi is always my favorite, and their cut was pretty thick so it’s extra tasty! All the oysters were super fresh as you can see the little farm right in front of you! Also ordered Manila clam and couple other things, and they’re just all outstanding! But also because how popular they are, you might have to wait to get yourself a table..

During my trip to Seattle, I explored several seafood restaurants, and this one turned out to be the best! The Salish Sampler is a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it! It features all the must-try signature dishes. The Geoduck sashimi is always my favorite, and their portion was thick, making it even more delicious! All the oysters were incredibly fresh, as you can actually see the nearby farm! I also tried the Manila clams and a few other dishes, and everything was outstanding! Just keep in mind that due to its popularity, you may have to wait for a table. Book a table now

This place is a bit smaller inside than we expected. So, we did have to wait for the two of us to be seated(about 5 minutes). I ordered the shucker's dozen oysters and added freshly grated horseradish for $1. They were clean, cold, and delicious! Loved it! We also ordered the Mac Cheese minus the crab meat due to an allergy. That was amazing as well. Yum! The staff here was also extremely personable, friendly, and helpful. Thank you!

Whether you're stopping by to pick up fresh oysters to grill over a fire or enjoying a meal in the restaurants and bars along the western side of Washington, Taylor Shellfish never disappoints. Be sure to try the oyster shooter with tequila—it really kickstarts your day! The oysters are truly fresh and amazing. Thanks, Squaw!

This restaurant is a must-visit for seafood lovers. They offer a wide variety of dishes that are consistently excellent! The service is also superb. It tends to be quite busy, so be ready to wait or consider making a reservation. The sampler platter is amazing!! They also have a great selection of wines available.

Seattle’s favorite oyster shad. We like this spot the best. You can always count on them for the freshest oysters and other seafood.Highly recommend the geoduck sashimi too. It is on the pricey side though.Pro tip: they have an oyster farm north of Seattle where you can eat oysters while enjoying the view. Book a table now

Nothing to shout about apart from the freshness of the seafood. Chowder was very salty and mostly bacon. Something about the service atmosphere wasn’t welcoming. Also pricier than most of the seafood places we’ve tried.
