I happened to spot this place as I walked into the center of Verdun. It's on one of the main streets leading into the center, but it's away from the tourist scene. It was excellent: staff, service and esp. the food. I had des geziers as an appetizer, and joked with the waiter that if he brought me a second portion, that would be all that was needed for dinner. The second visit proved just as good. This is one of those lucky finds, just outside the tourist center, that makes it worthwhile.
A pleasant décor, a friendly welcome and extremely good food. The chef is young and will go far!!!. The 'Duel de Foie Gras' was exceptional [Home made foie gras cooked an seasoned to perfection] as for the 'Pave de Lotte sauce Armoricaine' perfectly cooked and moist monk fish with a fragrant seafood sauce. As for the desserts they were traditional [Mousse au chocolat, lemon tart crème brulee] without forgetting a good selection of cheeses.A TOTALLY INDULGENT EXPERIENCE......
We ate this noon. With the menu of the day, it was just a good time. A land, a Roquefort sauce tab and a shotamisu. Everything was great, I should have asked for a little more sauce just by greed, but you must remember. I recommend and I'll be right back.
New interior decoration very, warm and very, original. The service is tjrs impecable with friendly and available staff. The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful. To advise strongly. One of the best restaurants in Verdum and its surroundings. Book a table now
