Absolute disgraceful. £30+ order and none was friendly! Cheesy chips, that came with only a fingertip full of cheese with freezing cold chips. A battered sausage that was burnt and barely any sausage to eat. A large portion of chips was equivalent to a cone. Absolutely disgraceful prices for food that cannot even be eaten! Curry sauce was watery and bland. It's a shame when you're looking forward too something like this and it has to go in the bin. Will never return. Shocking. Just had three pieces of fish, most disappointed I can only imagine they had a hard swim before they got to the shop or they were lunchtimes. The one piece was no bigger than a fish finger and all three were dry and very chewy. I have rang through with my disgust and I will give the young lady 10 out of 10 for saying 'sorry about that '
The fish and chips here are the priciest in Tewkesbury, but the portions are disappointingly small. I ordered what was labeled as a 'regular' serving of chips, paid £1.80, and received what could barely be considered one small potato's worth of chips. It's very disappointing and feels like nothing more than price-gouging.
Called in to this chippy as I was on that side of town ...on Friday night at opening...I don't normally do takeaway food but this has sadly confirmed why I don't spend and give local businesses the chance to shine ...in this case not even a sparkle ...hard money earnt for big disappointment...shame!!! Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. The chips were dry, and the gravy was watery. I would never spend another penny there again. I’m sorry, but you really need to take more pride in what you serve.
I was very disappointed with the hot wings, they where very dry. To top it up my daughter was stood there for ages waiting for her wrap as 5 people got served before her
