This is a unique family-owned restaurant. We dined there for the first time last night, and it was delicious. I ordered a medium spicy dish, and let me tell you, it was definitely spicy! The portions are generous, leaving plenty for leftovers, though I did find the prices to be somewhat on the higher side. I would certainly return, as the owners are very kind people. Overall, the curry was enjoyable, but the rice was undercooked. I mentioned this to the waiter, and although she said she would do her best to address it, I was left unsatisfied. I would have preferred to wait an extra ten minutes for properly cooked rice rather than receive a poorly prepared dish. Unfortunately, there was no compensation offered—no discounts, refunds, or exchanges.
Eating here is like eating at family. The food was very good (hot) and service was good. But what makes this place special are the (presumably) Thai owners. Very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy the meal. So strange was the number of takeout customers that the owners seemed very familiar with. I'll go back. I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is fantastic, and the owner is a lovely woman. I highly recommend trying the Panang Curry!
