I recently moved to the area as a student and would often pass Thai Pad Thai going into town. From the outside it’s a quaint but colourful establishment which is always brimming make sure you book! Our group was welcomed with only smiles and hellos, and even accommodated for a late change to the booking by squeezing an extra chair on the end of the table. The atmosphere was charming with couples and families all dining and enjoying their evening. The extensive menu catered for all palettes and dietary requirements. There are three Thai places in 7 dials but this one is the best. The food is consistently good. You can see the Thai chefs in the kitchen out the back cooking away which adds a nice touch to the ambiance. The Thai Pad Thai noodles are excellent and when I was last there I tried the Crispy fried seabass fillet in a creamy red curry sauce which had an explosion of flavours. The only negative point I would say about this dish was that once the sauce was poured over the crispy fried fish and then served, it was no longer crispy. The sauce should be served separately. I will be back again to try more on the menu. Super nice staff and chefs. Aroi maak!!!
I had the worst Thai take away of my life and thought we could resolve but they do not care. Don't use this restaurant. I received a prawn curry which was basically a carrot curry and eventually found 4 prawns. The sticky rice was a brick which was even difficult to cut into with a knife. The squid was overcooked and rubbery. They just told me to call deliveroo. I called back saying my issue is wfarz served by them and they didn't care. No one should pay for this rubbish.
I've lived nearby for a long time but only visited this restaurant once before many years ago. Just finished a meal with my in laws and family and we had a really good evening. Charming, obliging and patient staff; great tasting food and generous portions. Really good we'll be back!

Celebrated my birthday at Thai Pad Thai last night (06/07/23), with a few friends. All of us enjoyed the food, it was delicious good value. The staff were totally charming brought extra cake! The atmosphere was lovely I’d highly recommend the restaurant. Thank you!
Another fab meal here with family. Nothing was too much trouble for the two girls waiting our table of 10 and they were excellent with the children. The service was exemplary. Exquisite Thai food. Fresh, vibrant and delicious. Another excellent experience.
Recent visit to Brighton to see family and looking for a Thai restaurant visited Thai Padthai. Food and service were exceptional and we shall certainly return when we visit Brighton again. A very pleasant evening
Two lovely young ladies are serving excellent food! This is a really secret spot away from the touristy tracks. I recommend the ThaiPatThai, this is a fabulous dish!
