We had a Friday reservation and were promptly seated in a PACKED dining room. Matthew, our waiter, was EXCELLENT. He followed our lead for the pace of the meal, knew the menu very well, and was quick to allow a chicken for veal substitution. He was very professional like a New York City career waiter. Food was good, as expected. The only opportunity for improvement was the crowd/noise level.
Reservations at 5:45 on a Friday. Seated immediately at wobbly two top table, bench/booth on one side, chair on the other, tight between tables, zero sense of privacy. Servers had to shuffle between tables. Food was fine, but for the overall cost $225) for 2 drinks but no dessert) ambiance should have been better. Did not feel like we got our money’s worth.
Busy time of year, so we booked the week of and sat out on the enclosed patio. Got a little noisy and seating was a little uncomfortable. But same great service and food you expect from CM!
