If you are looking for a great dessert in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego, you are in the right place! The baked bear specializes in cookies and ice cream, and they do a really good job with both! You can get your own custom ice sandwich (what I would always recommend) where you can customize your top and bottom cookies per tip is another cookie on each side as well as have the ice on the middle, and then a special topping at the end! This dessert will fill you, and it tastes fantastic. These ice sandwiches are much better than the standard shop you might know better. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Cookies good. Ice good. Combine the two, even better! In seriousness I came here with a large group, we all ordered different variations of the ice-cookie sandwich and there was no bad combination out there. I ordered Gooey Cake butter cake cookies with Keksteig ice cream and brownie bits and would get it back 10/10. Definitely recommend trying this place if you are in town and want a fun dessert. It is also just a block from the Pacific Beach Boardwalk, so it is a convenient walk from the beach. But since it is so popular, it can be a line, so plan accordingly!

On the way home, the boyz wanted to stop here! Yeah, and they also use Yap! So we stopped waiting, always a line here. But they're fast! Thank you for all the workers they have... Cookies and brownies are made fresh, and ice cream was very creamy. Thank you for great reviews and for my boyz who found this place!
