we came for a few drinks, we're English, so we've never been here. my friend and I stood up to recover and were accused of taking drug because we went the wrong (we were never here.) to clarify, our friends had an empty (what was the greatest they had on them) but we were having with little explanation, why, and for very unjustified reasons. we should not have been accused first, it felt very unwilling and we all felt very ostracized. instead of being directed to the ploo, which is a fundamental human right, we were kicked out because we were lost at a place where we were never before. I can also point out that this happened all this evening, I am aware enough to tap this, which makes clear...

Met a former work colleague for lunch and a few beers. We had been here before and enjoyed the food BUT ALAS the menu had changed and what a rip off. My friend had what was described as Lamb Shis which was 1, that's right' 1...skewer containing 6 chunks of lamb for, wait for it, $24!!!!!!! That's $4 a chunk. My lamb burger was a thin meat pattie with an overcooked fried egg between two rubbery rounds of pita bread....$20 plus $4 for chips to go with it. We complained to the bar staff and was told that the owners wanted the food to go up market. It seems that the only thing that went up is the prices. Not going back in a hurry.
my wife and I took a quick lunch. menu is pretty average, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. price w quality of food was very questionable. we had a wallpaper style meatball court, chips and blackworst wallpapers court with 2 terrible...Pita brote that came with the meatballs. with a beer and 3 weeping total they get almost no change of $100. that's probably more than $25 than it was worth. it was quite delicious and we enjoyed it. it was almost empty on a Thursday afternoon, so they really need to win the chicks with proper lunch incentives.
Our steaks were undercooked, and when we attempted to report it to the waitress she stuck her hand in my face and screamed that she would be right back. When we eventually got her attention again, she acted as if she did not know how...to fix it. This was not a cheap meal! Then I discovered that the bathroom had no soap and the bartenders basically gave me the finger when I brought it to their attention. Book a table now
The different levels are all pretty cool and when we were there it was during covid so the lines were very long and the place was empty when we got in i think due to covid it wasnt the best experience but the staff...were nice enough and they kept open until 2am so thats “good” for sydney very young crowd btw so dont be shocked if you are in your 30s or 40s :
during the week dressed with friends and was easy to get a table. they have a dog and we chose the bank as they are dog friendly. the restaurant is called Abi’s kantini and is east in the middle. we shared a few pides and. they were tasty and reasonably expensive. great choice for vegetarians.
Great pub in Newtown with funky vibe and great outdoors area. Menu is fairly standard but quality of food is high.menu needs to be changed as there’s only so many times you can eat a chorizo pizza. Other than the pedestrian menu this is a...great pub.
Average, over-priced food. $23 for a small burger and fries that were absolutely over done with the salt. The burger was the same; so salty you couldn’t taste anything else. Very friendly doormen which is a nice change. Book a table now
Absolutely disgusting male bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months let alone the stench

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
