AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! The food was perfectly fine except for the refusal to serve us dessert at 8:30 with no warning, because they were apparently too busy but found time to play the quiz that was being held! Staff and management were very rude and disrespectful and for an old dingy pub that serves average food it’s definitely not worth the disappointment!!
Visited on a Monday evening, was nice to find a place that serves food on a Monday as a lot places don’t nowadays. Hadn’t booked but were seated in good time and served at the table. Had the Monday special of a curry and a drink for £8.50. Very big portions and homemade curry was very tasty and very good Value for the price paid
Hi visited tonight and had the Monday Club “special”, which we often have fairly regularly . Usually 2 or 3 selections, included with a drink and excellent value; main menu available too. Food as per, lovely, hot tasty and all homemade, the veggie curry fantastic!...
As always we have enjoyed this Pub as Excellent management and service although today we felt completely let down. 12:15 and pub empty and Dan advised us no dinners available although we have never had a problem before. Website stated the pub was not busy.... Book a table now

First time visiting the inn. This bar/restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, the decor is traditional with a real personal old pub feel. We went for Sunday roast, it was delicious with fast and attentive service.
