I stop for a drink with a friend and am quite enjoying the decore. I haven't come here in years since they have renovated so they seem to attract a more polished crowd. Drink prices are comparable to city prices but may be more reflective of the lack of competition in the area.<br/ <br/ The bistro looks decent so I'll have to come back and check it out. Prices were around $20-25 for most dishes.
The Bayview Hotel has been a popular local watering hole and dining destination since opening back in 1879. This neighbourhood haunt serves up a selection of your the usual popular pub fare along with a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The Bayview 8oz Open Slather (image below) recently won Best Burger at the 2016 Awards for Excellence NSW.
A kids meal costs $10.00 you receive the meal, an activity pack, small soft drink (in a plastic cup) and ice cream for this price excellent value I say. Now the meal options are your usual deep fried suspects, pizza and spaghetti, you can substitute the chips for vegies if you want to be a bit more health concious for your kids.

It's a quite a large place and usually busy on weekends. Decent crowd. Great and quick customer service. Location is great too. Parking is available nearby (at around 5 mins walking distance)<br/ <br/ Food was really good but I didn't like my Cocktail (expresso Martini) much.<br/ <br/ Reasonably priced menu.
The new Bayview is very good. We love it but pleaaassseee can you add some more vegetarian options to the menu, it's the only thing stopping me being able to go up there more as the Wife cant keep eating the same Couscous Salad or Pizza every time. <br/ <br/ Everything else rocks.
Fantastic pub food value..a step up on your regular pub fare. My barramundi was exceptional. Sampled the raviolo too...yummo! Lovely friendly service.
The new menu is great. Stopped coming some time ago as the menu was pretty stale, that has been fixed. Great bar
