"as a group of four we visited the opposite to walk and see, we ate on Thursday night and loved it so much we went back for another meal on Friday. eating was good, like the beer, but crawling like. that really stands out because of the attitude of the hostess. we were greeted with a smile and with ease and nothing was too much annoyed. we would recommend a visit in this beautiful pub."

Six of us visited on Saturday evening after a day at the Malvern Showground. As this lovely restaurant is only twenty minutes drive, it is ideally situated for revitalising sustenance after you've walked your legs off! My husband and I have eaten here once before...and recommended it to our friends, hoping that the experience would be as superb as the first time. No-one was disappointed . The mains we chose were beer battered fish (haddock) and chips, chicken balti, sticky chilli beef and cajun chicken wrap. All of the meals were completely delicious and cooked to perfection. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding, lemon curd pavlova and ice cream. The chef makes the ice cream, which comes...

my wife and I took my parents here yesterday, as we were recommended by friends. what a wonderful building and a good location for a local pub! it was a quiet Friday night with just a few regular in and during the facility. is perhaps something dated it adds the charm and warmth of the place. the food is freshly cooked to order and very tasty, the beer selection was good and very pleasant. but what made the evening so special was the incredible service everyone here works. they are so friendly and helpful that we are simply made feel completely well maintained and welcome. we felt like the only people there because of the attentive customer orientation. well made to all in bear, we will cert...

We held a family funeral wake at the Bear. Lynda had suggested we had individual buffet boxes so that people felt more comfortable than with a traditional buffet This was an excellent choice the food and portion sizes were brilliant and we were all...able to make use of the lovely garden to chat and share memories. Lynda and the team were so kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

I booked a private room for dinner for 20 people aged 2-95 for a birthday celebration. Lynda was extremely helpful in providing a good menu choice and accommodating a few changes along the way. Nothing was too much trouble, prices very reasonable especially considering...the enormous portions we all had and the food was excellent. I most definitely recommend this lovely traditional pub.
