Great place to go if you have kids as there's a play room separate with some toys. I'd just say when we went as there was only one lady working the tables needed clearing and wiping as it was a bit messy everywhere. The playroom was fairly messy/dirty could have done with a thorough clean (especially the rug) but luckily we don't mind a bit of dirt but I think others would be put off. I rode my bike to this restaurant and enjoyed a delicious homemade cake while sitting outside in the sun! The staff kindly refilled our water bottles twice and also gave us ice. This place is a great stop for a snack or a more substantial meal as well. Highly recommended!

Popped into the Shack while working in the area. Great little cafe, lovely staff, Panini and Bacon sandwich very tasty . Will stop by again when next in area.
Very cute cafe. Tasty chicken and Chorizo panini and very piggy cake. Hot chocolate was actually hot too so an all round lovely experience

"Warm welcome. Sat by fire which was very cosy and comfortable. Subdued lighting and lovely staff made for a relaxing atmosphere. Excellent food fish chips and chicken pie served very hot. Couldn’t have been happier."
