The Birdcage - Table reservation

I have always been a huge fan of The Birdcage, and the regular staff are always delightful. Since being diagnosed with coeliac disease last year, I have been eating gluten-free. The gluten-free pizza is delicious (5-star worthy), but they do not offer a small size option and charge an extra £1 for the gluten-free base, which feels like a bit of a disappointment. During a lunch outing with friends, we all ordered the smaller £9 lunch deal pizzas, but I ended up having to pay £16 unexpectedly, as they did not inform me at the time of ordering that the smaller size was not available in gluten-free (or about the additional charge), and only mentioned this when the food was brought to the table a...

My best friend and I met at this restaurant for lunch. We were welcomed by a very friendly and hospitable gentleman. I chose this restaurant because they offer gluten-free pizza, which my friend and I shared along with a goat cheese salad. Both dishes were fresh and nicely presented. The portions were generous, so we didn't have space for dessert. The atmosphere was lively but not overly loud. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Probably the worst Italian meal we have ever had! Penne pasta with tomato puree and inedible meatballs, penne pasta with Bolognese from Dolmio like sauce. Really poor. House red wine from Italy, Syrah, which was actually Australian! Definitely a pizza only outlet!

Visited for the first time on Saturday. Lovely busy restaurant with very friendly staff. The Pizza are fantastic. Best Pizza I have had in years. Just moved to Malmesbury and we a already looking forward to returning. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely...

Connor and Kai provided excellent service. The staff members were very friendly and talkative. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
