One of my favorite places in Colorado. Heather is the best host and a magnificent cook. The choices on their menu range from what you expect, and also some delicious, exotic gourmet evenings. The surroundings are friendly and rustic with the main bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Upstairs is another bar and has a pool table, outdoor deck, dance floor and stage, the features live music, karaoke nights, movies and a variety of other shows and events. The staff here is competent and always friendly and offers a great time to return and share with friends and family. If you ever find yourself in the Peak to Peak area, do not miss it from a good experience.
We live about 5 miles from here and take everyone who stays with us to this little "hole in the wall"... I never had a bad meal and it will surprise you the type of menu that they were in the middle of “No where”. We took my husband's family tonight and were very impressed. Thank you for providing a small city experience with a high dollar palate for food!!! Don't fit this place up.
Stage Stop is simply awesome! A place were a third generation native can really feel at home. Good food. Good coffee good food and drinks. Pleasant company biker's welcome. The building is an 1860s Stage Stop for reals.
The staff here is excellent and so is the food! You can't beat the gorgeous patio next to the river either! I especially love the fact that you can bring your dog here on a leash. Always Top Notch entertainment too!

Love the stage stop! Friendly staff, great food and a lovely extended menu that includes delicious Oyster Rockefeller! They have a nice beer selection and a stage upstairs that features live music and karaoke
Truly amazing food. We use the Stage Stop on our guided gold adventures nearby and all of our guests are blown away by Heather's lunches. The Shrimp N Grits Low Country style is to die for.
Heather makes some of the best meals in all of Colorado and the USA. The atmosphere is amazing and always a fun experience. Definitely stop here if you are ever in the area.
Eating to die. Great chefs and nice staff. Being there for over 40 years and getting better with age.
