While driving through Mt.P we decided to stop for dinner. After reading Google reviews and looking at photos we decided The Brass looked like a good place eat. Parking was a little difficult, but we did end up finding a spot after driving around a few times. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Within minutes a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress was at our table taking our drink order and going over the special. Everything on the menu looked amazing! The soup of the day was dill pickle, which I've never heard of before but love pickles. So the waitress let me sample some. It was so delicious I ended up getting a bowl of it for dinner. I'm not a...

We came there for dinner on Saturday, September 30th to celebrate our cousin’s 50th anniversary. We chose the Brass based on the great reviews and menu and boy were we disappointed. The service was great!! Our server was terrific!! The food on the other hand was terrible. There were two of us that had the scallops and risotto which were overly salty and had an odd taste to them. The lamb chops were dry and lacked flavor. They had the mint sauce which was horrible and just smeared on them. The steak ordered was a bit overcooked and not very good!! Our appetizer of the charcuterie was definitely not like the pictures showed and just felt thrown together with whatever was in the kitchen. For th...

We always enjoy our meal but this last time was not as good an experience. The waitress had no idea about the menu or wines. We ordered the house salads and received the wedge salad and she didn't remember us ordering side salads. I told her immediately and she then brought the correct salads. I always like the pecan crusted walleye but this time, the sauce was way too rich and didn't taste right. The fish did not taste good either. . My husband ordered scallops carbonara and said the scallops were good but not the sauce. We were both disappointed in the waitress and the food and especially for the price of the meals.

Went for lunch today on the dining room side. Really liked the quiet, comfortable, somewhat darkened ambiance. Brass ceiling lamps and a very cool linear ceiling fan. The elk skull/antlers seemed out of place but not a deal breaker. Artisan bread was fantastic...our entrees (steak, Cordon Bleu) were delicious. Ordered some bread 'to go ' but the wife dropped them on the rainy sidewalk...went back inside and our server replaced them at no charge. I mentioned to her that we were somewhat new to the area but I think we found our spot . Book a table now

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $20-$30, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely delicious and I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff members, also earning a 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was charming and inviting, making for a delightful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful meal.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! We ordered the ribeye but got the mushroom risotto instead of the usual side dish. The steak was cooked perfectly and the deviled eggs were also impressive. We requested to be seated in a more secluded area because a group of older customers nearby were loud and disruptive. Despite this, the restaurant itself was lovely and the staff provided excellent service. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. We will definitely return in the future.
