"Not sure but I think this might be Cafe III but it doesn’t really matter. It is in the Port of Duquesa anyway and it is open all year round, serving good food and drink. They do a happy hour for drinks and if you fancy home made cakes, this is the place for you to indulge yourself."

I still can’t work out why the listing for this bar restaurant remains inaccurate. Anyway I don’t suppose it matters. Cafe III is in Puerto de la Duquesa and Cafe II is in San Luis de Sabinillas. Both do the same food but the views from the one in the marina are nicer. We have been eating here for years and the standard of food coming out of the kitchen has remained constantly good. On this visit we had tapas and salads. Again good quality and well priced. Our guests couldn’t manage a slice of cake so they took some carrot cake away. Just excellent.

we went to this cafe in Sabinillas one afternoon 2 weeks ago. I got lasagne and my wife got grilled chicken. the lasagne was on a type of soup plate and it filled the plate. it should hold its shape when reheated. I started eating it was hot on the sides and cold in the middle. The chicken was dried and reheated. Both were awful. we have been to this cafe in previous years and it was OK, not great but OK. This time terrible. I never send back food in a cafe for fear of what the chef will do it

This is a lovely spot to sit for a couple of hours. As I have mentioned before it actually is Cafe III but what the heck, no one seems to mind. The food here is good, they do homemade cakes (carrot, cheesecake, apple pie and sometimes a chocolate gateau) all are really tasty. We dropped in late afternoon and enjoyed a few drinks during their 3 hours of ‘happy hour’ what’s not to like about all this.

We visited here last night as we spotted the Tapas sign. What a treat! All dishes were cooked fresh and were all yummy. We could not fault the dishes nor the service. We are returning guests and have always been remembered and welcomed warmly. A great asset to Duquesa, keep up the fabulous food and service. We will be back! :
