Probably shouldn't stand out but I went in with my one-year old and I'm a bit wary of not being welcomed into places as a result. Not here, though. Once I found a seat I ordered a beer plus some hot water to warm up some food. When my son split some food a bat staff member came over and offered napkins whilst the manager came over to say that if I needed to change him, just ask, and she'd give me the key to the change room. Same manager opened up the doors when we left to get the buggy through. On top of that, the range of beers, their quality and their price were excellent. Glad I called in before they went bowling.
Called in here for a cold lager on a warm afternoon and were so glad we did. The staff are helpful and friendly, atmosphere is good and the range of beers, ales and ciders on offer is amazing would recommend the Stiegl lager. Will definitely stop off again on our next visit to Lincoln.
We always come here for the charcuterie board, great selection of meats and cheeses. The boards change quite regularly but the quality is always high. Lovely atmosphere, sometimes hard to find a table because it is popular and limited seats.
Very impressed with the sympathetic renovations. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Husband reports that the beer is well kept, great choices at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit if your in Lincoln.

What a pub. The beer was great a massive choice. The prosecco was fresh. Seating inside and out was great for people watching. Staff were super friendly.
