The Carine - Table reservation

The staff were attentive if not a little rough around edges when it came to serving the food - now for the menu - when you go out for a meal one expects to find something a little different from what you may serve up at home - quite frankly what we were given tonight - was less than poor if that is possible -what was the chef - no it couldn't have been a chef who presented burnt chicken under cooked chips just what was he thinking of - once we had our first round of drinks served that was it - no 'would' like another drink ' . Absolutely appalling. Service from a waitress so rude and confrontational when she was asked politely when our meal was coming. I have no idea why she could be hired in hospitality. Our whole table's jaw literally hit the flaw with her response.Food substandard. I had pork belly burnt to a cinder and tough and dry. My partner ordered burger with the lot but had to eat with knife and fork because it was that greasy and messy you couldn't eat with your hands. Glasses of coke was like drinking water with ice no flavour whatsoever.Tables and walls dirty and whole ambience awful. Never again! If i could give minus I would.

This is a good quality restaurant, great variety on the Modern Australian menu, slightly above average restaurant prices but decent servings.
