I dined at The Cask on Thursday evening and ordered the Green Apple flatbread. It was absolutely delicious with thin slices of prosciutto, perfectly melted Brie, and well-placed fig jam. I enjoyed it so much that I returned on Friday for the same dish. However, this time the prosciutto was too thick and caused the flatbread to fall apart. The fig jam was also missing. I sent it back, but when it returned, it was exactly the same. I was hesitant to eat it after that experience. Overall, it was not a great dining experience the second night.
Cask is our go to restaurant in San Carlos. It is great for lunch or dinner. The menu offers many different options for those who want a snack or a full meal. The mushroom flatbread appetizer is yummy and enough to share. The warm Napa cabbage salad is rich and delicious. The French dip is a favorite. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. They have an extensive wine list and also have craft beer. Cask is a great choice.
Our go to place in San Carlos. Good variety of food. Tasty specials and the wine list has something for everyone. I love that we never feel pressured to leave so they can “flip the table”, no matter how busy they are. Service is always excellent with no detail ignored. Highly recommend.
But the first time it loved it. Beautiful place with a great service. Burak and Ismet were professional and friendly. We had a nice evening with the place, the food and the staff.. Thank you, we will be back soon to buy gift cards for our good friends.

I love their special lunch menu with small portions of a 3 course meal. Their minestrone soup and salad are both really good. I had the salmon as I love it and their small portion was plenty for me. The service was incredibly quick and smooth and warm.
Really enjoy the 3 course lunches for $20! Everything is always so tasty and service is terrific.
