Meanwhile, the rest of us chose the fish and chips, which, unfortunately, were not well-received. I personally did not enjoy my fish and chips, and my friends felt the same way. The batter lacked flavor, and the fish was mushy inside. I would have preferred a crispy, flavorful batter and a firm, flaky fish.

I had been hearing great things about The Cellar for a while now, and felt compelled to check it out- I'm sure glad I did! This place is a hidden gem. They have quite a few very good apps, but the poke bowl was in a league of its own. Super fresh, amazing quality and just crafted to perfection. Their special that evening was a bacon wrapped meatloaf, brussel sprouts and mac cheese. I had originally planned on the salmon BLT, but the special won me over. Michael was fantastic! The selection of beers was impressive, and the food was exceptional! The fish tacos are the best I've tried in Benicia! The Brussels sprouts with walnuts were delightful as well! Don't forget to leave some space for the chef's special dessert! Michael expertly paired the beers with our meals. This place is so much more than just a pub! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Michael truly went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. The food was excellent, accompanied by some delightful local brews. He was personable and made a real effort to ensure our lunch was outstanding. We can't wait to visit again, and the atmosphere was fantastic as well.
Found the place by accident....waitress was very nice and curtious. I had their burger and asked if they could do it keto style. It was nicely fished and tasted great. My friends had the salmon burger and fish chips both said it was awesome. Totally worth to visitFood: 5/5
Stopped by The Cellar for lunch before heading to work. I didn't catch the server's name but she was so nice and attentive. The salmon blt was absolutely amazing. And the fries were so yummy. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

The food is decent and they serve a small bar food type menu. We. both had the fish and chips which was good. My only downside is that the place lacks air conditioning and can be downright uncomfortable at certain times.
