The staff were just rude, really. Like many others we merely asked to collect at a certain time as we had foor orders elsewhere too. Got essentially shouted at saying we are too busy to prepare for a certain time....OK, so how long does it...take then? grunted back so I said I would be back in to order. Came back later to order....and watched. The fish was ready in and sat in the hot plate thing for a further whilst I stood outside waiting g for pizza from next door. Having two young children means we are always looking for smaller portion sizes and it's great to find The Chippy offering these options. The light bites were perfect portion sizes for our kids and as these aren't standard sizes, they were freshly made which made...it even better. The normal fish supper was nice and the batter tasty and not greasy at all. Chips were fine and I also had some curry sauce which was a little too salty for my liking. Overall, good value and tasty. Stayed in aviemore for nights ate at this place times. Tbh I didn't know there was another chippy down the road. It wasn't bad! It wasn't great ether. Coming from west lothian I was surprised at how expensive this place was. Locals mustn't...eat out too often. The kebabs are small, chips are ok. It's just expensive for what you're getting.
Lots of taste to be had here. For sure the Fish is fresh and nicely battered, the chips crispy and you can add sauces. the place must be popular since there always seems to be customers present and you may have to wait a while....However the result is well worth the wait since the Fish Supper is mouth-watering.

Another perfect order from The Chippy! Never fails to impress. Fish is always fresh and batter crispy. Curry sauce delicious too, and the chicken fillets are lovely also. Food is always hot and fresh when we order, nice treat!
Maybe a wee bit more expensive here than other chip shops but well worth it for the quality. No soggy batter here. Never been disappointed. Only ever tried the fish n chips so can't comment on other menu items.
They can't get your order right there's always items missing... I have now barred myself from eating their food, which quality wise is a hit or miss. Thanks again for ripping me off!!!!!
Had a great scampi supper. Service was friendly and speedy, and was offered plenty of sauces. Really quick and easy for a mid week takeaway. Will definitely go again.
