Great food usually Absolutely useless customer service 3 members of staff and completely ignored despite having made a telephone order so not to waste time, as they made no attempt to acknowledge my existence I assume I must have been invisible, thankfully my super power had worn off by the time I got to the local shop as they could see me Get a grip of how you take and deal with orders
I'm astonished at the last review. All I can say is take a look around, see it's busy, and have a little patience! The staff at the Chowshed go out of their way to make sure that customers are looked after. I have only experienced fine service there. And when it is busy, the high quality, homemade food is always well worth waiting for. Thank you Girls
I work near this restaurant and visit "chowie" almost every day. The food is fantastic with generous portions and reasonable prices. Make sure to check out the specials board, as you can always discover hidden gems there.
Friendly and quick service. Really good range of menu options at reasonable prices. Only downside is seating is a bit limited with it being so popular. They do do a phone order service though. Recommended! Book a table now
Just had a very nice cuppa tea in there well waiting for my mot so clean and tidy and the two ladies in there are very nice and friendly I will definitely be going back there to try the food
