Great to be back in The Clarence Social. A little rusty after being closed for so long due to the pandemic. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. It’s quieter upstairs. The vegetarian option of aubergine and lentil pithivier was original, tasty and well presented with its accompanying salsa. We will certainly go back.
the waiting staff was nice, friendly and attentive. I don't like to give bad feedback, but eating wasn't so nice. More blessed promise was what was served. a cut of venison cooked medium was rare what was expected. average food to london trips. I'm very sorry I couldn't be positiw.
Despite confirming my booking a few days before when I arrived at for brunch on sat March the door was locked. I called and the chef answered we're not open until the staff obviously chose to party the night before at the expense of customers. I won't be going back
Menu is short but even then it was difficult to chose as all the dishes were appealing. Food beautifully presented and delicious. Wide range of gins available and our wine was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Book a table now

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, amazing food. Just a shame about the noise from the bar area couldn't hear people on our table! But, would definitely recommend!
