This place is certainly well hidden, down a no-through road from Apperley, and no obvious signs to get you there. At the end of the track you get to a caravan park and you can also make out the river Severn. We went on a sunny Saturday lunchtime and everyone was sat outside in the garden. Walked down the river from Tewkesbury The Coalhouse Inn was a lovely place to end up. We had tea and snacks which were great recommend the Whitebait. The real bonus were the proprietors who were amazingly friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back I think they have places to stay so that might be next : Recommended…

The food at this restaurant is exquisite and the service is excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and my husband loved the butterfly chicken with chorizo. He also raved about the corn on the cob side dish.
