We called here on 19. December 2021, a busy Sunday at teatime. We had no reservation, but the staff managed to push us, although it is very busy with Christmas and Sunday lunch. I chose the vegan sausages of the day on a Maische bed with Veg Gravy and Nabeby had the coconut Dahl (not in the online menu). We split the cauliflower balls. The sausage dish was beautiful even though they were more herbal croquettes than sausage. Hubby said his Dahl was good. The flower balls were different shaped flower wings and lacked a diving sauce. Lots of great vegan options and a great location .. near to Miller and Avenham Parks, the train station and Preston town centre. They offer indoor, outdoor and conservatory seating. There are vegan starters, mains and dessert. Not the usual 'make do ' options, but really inspiring and tasty food. Today I had the Tofu in cider batter with chunky chips, pea and basil puree and lemon curd dip. It was delicious

I’ve eaten a lot of vegan dishes and this one was the worst! The cauliflower main was completely tasteless well aside from a bigger burnt flavour. Couldn’t eat it and had to send it back and just get chips! It’s 2023 it’s really not that hard to make a tasty vegan dish this menu reads like it’s been created by a meat eater chef who hates vegans or has just never tasted the vegan dishes themselves.

Amazing tasty food, great service. I had Korean fried rice with tofu, other options were mushroom risotto, watermelon feta salad or vegan burger. Exotic fruit platter for dessert, didn’t take pic of main course but it was all delicious. Vegan children’s meal option of tomato pasta with vegetables too Updated from previous review on 2024-05-23
