I visited a restaurant in Preston after seeing good reviews and decided to order a takeaway. I got a meatball starter and Lobster Ravioli. The good news is that it was ready on time, the portions were really good-sized, and the food was hot. Unfortunately, the meatballs were dry and tasteless compared to other Italian restaurants I have been to that have thick mozzarella cheese. The ravioli was also disappointing with heavy pasta. Maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant, as there are many good reviews, especially for their pizza. However, my meal ended up in the bin and I would give it a 2/5 rating, and that's being generous.
Came to volari with great expectations having read the reviews but oh my what a disappointment I thought I had gone to the wrong place. Our order was taken by a really nice lady but when we got home the pizzas were cool and completely tasteless I had a tuna and prawn and my wife had tuna onion and olives and a garlic bread that to had no flavour and the mushrooms tasted soapy all in all the worst meal we have ever had you look at the pictures and the amount of filling on the products and they are so deceiving I would never recommend this place it was a total waste of
We have been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened and after reading great reviews, we finally ordered through Just Eat. Highly recommend and will definitely order again. The pizzas were delicious, especially the Pizza Toto and Margherita with extra sweetcorn. The garlic bread with cheese and piccante garlic bread (with onion, tomato, and chilies) were also tasty. The garlic mushrooms (funghi ripieni) were not the best, but the chips were very good.

This is the only takeaway pizza we will eat. It's way above most pizza places. The bases are lovely and thin, the flavour is very good. We always place the order by phone and then collect ourselves. They are always ready for the time stated and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.
Decided on a Takeaway for a change. Lovely food from Volare's on Blackpool Road. Nice and hot and well within the Delivery timeframe. Would definitely order again and recommend.
The best pizzas in Preston have a crispy thin base and excellent toppings. The Calabrisella, topped with nduja, mushrooms, and onion, was absolutely delicious.
the pizza is very good. close my eyes and I eat in neapel with sophia Loren...good a visit worth....inter fans to boot...what could you ask more? (rhetorian)
