We have visited this restaurant several times with our dog and have always felt welcomed. We have enjoyed coffees and dishes from both the breakfast and lunch menus, which have been delicious. The chocolate milkshakes are a hit. However, we have found the slices of cake to be dry on a few occasions. It seems that the cakes are left uncovered, causing them to dry out over the day. The staff acknowledged similar feedback in the past and suggested investing in cake covers. Despite this issue, we will still return to the restaurant but will avoid ordering sliced cakes.
Visited here on a few occasions. Sat in and had takeaway . Gotta say the food is ok but the service is painfully slow . Today we ordered a takeaway , waited 20 minutes for food, within this time the soup had already been put into take out tubs and a toastie already made and bagged . We had to wait a further 10 minutes on nachos while the food was getting cold in the bag . …. And the order ended up being wrong . If you’re going , be prepared to wait … a bit
We were staying in Falkirk and used Google to find somewhere for breakfast. We got to The Corner Cafe for opening and we were pleased we did. The cafe soon filled up. My husband ordered the full breakfast and I ordered avocado and poached eggs on toast. Both meals were delicious and very generous. We didn't need to eat again until the evening. The staff were efficient and friendly. We will definitely return when we're next in the area. Book a table now
Quick lunch required. Friendly greeting on arrival, pick of several tables, friendly and efficient waitress. Outside seating was an option on this warm dry day in late May however i decided on indoors on this occasion. The tables, floor etc appeared spotless. Good menu with ample to choose from. Soup and wrap deal was very appealing. Food was served promptly and was good value for a town centre cafe. I’ll be back whenever in the area.
Corner cafe big breakfast 1rasher bacon 1 link sausage 1 potato scone 1 tomato halved 1 mushroom thinly sliced 1 fried egg and 1 slice of toast 1 small ramekin of beans £10.50 cheaper to get a breakfast at the hilton Hotel than this place they all say support local this is just a pure rip off would not recommend to anyone if you want value for money it ain't in that place
We had a wonderful experience at this small cafe during our trip to Falkirk. They offer a variety of options including toasties, paninis, soup, sandwiches, and breakfast items. They also have a tempting selection of cakes, although we were too full to sample them. While prices are a bit higher than some other places, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit.
I went to this restaurant today for some food, and the server who helped us was amazing at suggesting dishes for us! She was very charming and welcoming from the beginning, and she brought out our lunch along with some delicious coffee. Thank you "Eve" for making our day so wonderful, we will definitely be back to see you soon! Book a table now
Dunno where anyone else went to but we sat for 20 minutes just to be ignored. Owner didn't seem to care when we left shocking.
