First time visiting the Columbia location. Our group started with the 'Stable Onion Bloomer ' appetizer (we devoured it! . One person got the crabcake sandwich (advertised as the 'best in Baltimore ' . She ate it all and agreed!. One person ordered the fried shrimp and ribs and I ordered the baby back ribs. Neither of us could eat our entrees (still full from the onion bloomer and side salad . We all got desserts to go (2 bread puddings, a mile high cheesecake and an order of funnel cake fries . They tasted their bread pudding and 'swooned '!! Cheesecake and funnel fries were also very good. Our server was TERRIFIC and we 'll definitely be back!
Edited Version Awful host (young male). He didn't say hello or ask how many in our group or our preference of seating since the place was not crowded. He wanted to put us in a corner area near a group. Despite not being crowded, we had slow service. Took too long to place drink order then too long to come back with drinks. Menu is very limited. We left and went somewhere else. We were really excited to try since this place had great reviews about the food. It' amazing how quickly the restaurant responded to my unedited review. But restaurant service was slow. They should spend time improving service and review like this wouldn't be written.
The fries seem like they are from the microwave. Ordered the little red sandwich. Came with BBQ sauce, and that is not noted. All the toppings tastes like BBQ sauce because it all BBQ sauce. The food took 45 minutes and when it arrived it was obvious the plate went through the microwave. My son ordered a burger and they got the toppings wrong. Oh the onions rings tasted like oil. The Only good thing about this place seems to be the draft beer
Was at the bar. Tender was awesome. Beer was great. New selection BTW. Prices weren?t outrageous. Food well cooked. Do the ribs. Slide off the bone. (Not competitive) but good. Highly recommend. But. They need more staff. If the crowd was heavier would have been ugly. But for the folks watching the Orioles and the Ravens was perfect. About 20 people over all and the bartender did a fantastic job.

I personally think the food here is bland. The crab cake is nothing to rave about honestly. The shrimp salad sandwich was less flavorful than I expected. Staff was very stand-off ish, never check to see if I needed anything else but they were polite when encountered.
We just had one of the best lunches in quite a while. Some restaurants' quality has fallen after the pandemic, but this was good. My wife said her cream of crab soup was the best she had ever had, and we had tried many over the years.
The bartender is the best and his service is the outstanding .He has a winning attitude and knows his customers. The ribs are so tender and full of flavor. Enjoy my Mondays a the Corner Stable.
It's quite expensive, but the food is delicious. I got a side salad with chicken and the salad was $12 $5 just to add chicken). I also have the crab dimmer that was a good part.

Great spot! The crab soup was delicious, but the fries were a bit soggy.
