We came here on the Sunday of the coronation weekend . I had the half roast chicken Sunday dinner and it gorgeous! I’m a northerner so I need loads of gravy on my dinner and usually I feel embarrassed asking for more wherever I go but they were very nice here when I ask for a ton of gravy . It was red wine gravy as well and was delicious. My chicken was beautiful as were my veggies and big Yorkshire pudding . My partner had a burger which he loved . I have to say the guy who served our table and worked the bar was fantastic, I didn’t catch his name but he was Scottish if that helps he was really friendly and had a lovely manner about him which I’m sorry to say , I don’t see much of in London...
At a time when the UK chancellor announces a reduction in beer duty from 1 August the pubs continue to increase prices at an alarming rate paying no attention to the state of people’s finances and driving yet more punters to cut down the amount they drink, go out less and in some cases flock to low priced alternative pub chains. At 5pm last night (Thursday) Ipaid £6.90 for a pint of Peroni in this Soho pub. Today (Friday) some 24 hours later the price is now £7.15 a pint approx 7% increase. Why? Is this not a rip off and as someone who has use this pub many times over the years I increasingly fall into the camp of going out less.
It was a great pub and restaurant. The ingredients were of excellent quality and tasted like it was made from scratch. The flavors were balanced, delicious, and had great creative/culinary elements!! The presentation was very good as well. I also tried my first NA Guinness excellent!! I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Highly recommended for a traditional English meal!!
Great pub in soho. Impressed with selection of craft beer, and gin selection. Had some bar snacks, their 3 for £16 and it came out on the wooden board which looked amazing to share with my friends! The food was delicious too. I will definitely be back again!

Great pub in Central London to spend some time with friend or colleagues after work. The staff is friendly, specially Valentina, a very lovely waitress! We definitely will come back.
Had a fantastic sharing plate lunch and gorgeous blackberry old fashioned and some delicious wine. Lovely pub dog kept us company and lady who looks after her, Mara? was great!

Place is as nice as ever with all the hustle and bustle. Craig is as lovely as ever and the cornerstone of this great pub.
We stopped by for a drink, Tuesday after work. Good selection of beers. Valentina was very helpful. Recommended
