I stayed at this restaurant for 1 night over the weekend. I was initially skeptical as I had never heard of Weatherspoons having accommodation. When I arrived at around 5pm, the pub and bar area was very busy. It took a while for a staff member to serve us as there was no designated reception area for room bookings. The room was located up a steep flight of stairs, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The twin room was extremely spacious with a large bathroom. Although the room looked slightly worn, it was very clean. The hospitality tray was impressive, with multiple sachets of tea, coffee, milk, Oak milk, biscuits, and water. An ironing board, iron, and hairdryer were...

I visited this restaurant just under a week ago and discovered upon returning home that I had been charged for drinks I did not order. I reached out to customer service via email, but unfortunately, they have not taken any action to resolve the issue. Laura Barclay claimed that the matter had been passed on to the manager, but then ignored my subsequent email until I mentioned that I would be leaving a negative review. Despite my repeated requests for the company's complaints procedure, she has chosen to ignore them each time. It is unacceptable that this company is willing to overcharge customers for drinks they did not order and not take any responsibility for it. The manager of Biggleswad...
Called into Biggleswade weatherspoons for lunch with family on Sat 1st April.service was good the drinks very good but the food terrible. My husband had mixed grill, the meat was rubbery and tough, my curry the poperdoms were soft and the nann bread was limp.We felt the food had gone downhill very quickly,we counted the chips that were with the fish in total 5, l know food has gone up but 5 this had to be a joke. Won't be giving them my money for food again.
Visited the crown public house while visiting the town today. Cold, blustery day spent a little while drinking coffee with a friend . You can get free refills. You just collect your coffee of your choice using the machine which does it all for customers. The pub was tidy the service at the bar was courteous and efficient, highly recommended. It's such a shame parking is limited in the town. Book a table now
There was a nice selection of beers and Ales, and the staff were very busy keeping the tables clear and wiping them over, and the service was very quick, but the food was OK, except the chips were poor. The oil in the fryer was either old or they had cooked scampi or breaded fish, as the chips were covered in black crumbs of sorts. But otherwise, the meal was ok and hot and fed us.
One of the managers was really condescending and rude. Several people were in distress because of my response as a result of me being kicked out. The manager assumed I was “too drunk” despite having only 2 drinks because I’m on medication. I felt targeted as a venerable female. Disgusting do not enter this property.
We went for breakfast before doing some shopping and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very nice and we didn’t have to wait too long for it to be served. All the staff were polite and helpful and you can have another cup of coffee free if you want to. We thought the food was reasonably priced.
We had a great experience at the Crown Hotel in Biggleswade. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were lovely during our two-night stay. Book a table now
