Unbelievable. Attended a function here a month ago. They were understaffed and the food that came out was barely enough to go around. This however was not the worst of it. After waiting an eternity for a glass of champagne my husband questioned the amount that had been poured. It was really well below the low tide mark. He was told by the waiter that he couldn't fill it up any more without asking his boss. My husband told him not to worry and came and joined our group. He then received a tap on the shoulder from the owner who asked him to put down money to prove that the drink was the correct amount. Girls Night Out. I recently went to Cubby House on a Girls night out. The style of restaurant really suited this type of night out with a bar on one side of the restaurant and table seating on the other. Would be a great venue for a Hens Night. We enjoyed the $45 set menu and there was heaps of food. The chef was very accommodating to a few of us who had some food restrictions and the wait staff ensured we served the correct portions. truly fine dinning experience. we tried the $45 set menu and it was a fine dinning experience really pleasant. the duck tea and the spatchcock was something that is really unique, and we were in many fine dinning restaurants in the entertainment book, and we can say cubbyhouse is a restaurant that has a small jewel hidden here in randwick the owner went to make every table to ensure that everyone has a good time and enjoy the eating, and our waiter was very good that we went there

Cocktails and eating out. I was really impressed with the food and the vibe the first time around, just not impressed with their choice of music; very loud and not appropriate to dine too. We went back a second time; again great food and vibe, just the music is way too loud. The acoustics between the cocktail section and the restaurant do not work. Music was too loud, therefore people started shouting to get heard. Not a place for quiet dinners
Awesome. Decided to try the Cubbyhouse for a special occasion last week was blown away by the amazing food, having never tried tapas before I was amazed by the variety of tasty treats on offer. The staff were so courteous obliging. Dominique our waitress could not do enough to make our dining experience very special helped us with our choices. We will surely be back.
Typical Footballer. No great surprise when I found out the owner of this establishment is an ex-footballer. An absolute moron and no idea how to treat women. He ignorantly and foolishly insulted me whilst trying to play the friendly host no apology, just tried to justify his insult. Will never go back and will never recommend to anyone.
Nat mac knows best. What a great place and great food, the people there are amazing and Zippo cooking at his best as always. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Made my night.
